🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁

A Parenting Story to Teach Road Safety with Love🛣️

Every parent wants their child to be safe, confident, and responsible.
Roads are part of our daily life, but for kids they can be confusing and risky.
So today, let us tell a simple parenting story that explains basic transport rules and traffic rules for kids in an easy and loving way.

🚦 A Small Story:

Ruhi Learns Road Safety

🙋Ruhi was a smart 7-year-old girl. She loved going outside to play and riding her small bicycle.
One morning, his mother said,

“Ruhi beta, today I will teach you traffic rules so you can stay safe on the road.”

Ruhi smiled and said,

“Mumma, traffic rules sirf drivers ke liye hote hain na?”

Her mother gently replied,

“Nahi beta, road safety rules are for everyone – kids, parents, walkers, and drivers.”

Basic traffic rules for kids explained through parenting story with Ruhi character
Childrens crossing the street

🚸 Rule 1: Always Walk o

n the Footpath

Mumma took Ruhi for a walk near their house.
She showed her the footpath and explained:

Always walk on the footpath, not on the road

If there is no footpath, walk on the left side of the road.

🏃Never run suddenly onto the road

👉 Sadak par chalna bhi ek zimmedari hai.

Ruhi nodded and understood that walking carefully is the first transport rule for kids.

🚦 Rule 2: Understand Traffic Lights

They stopped near a traffic signal.
Mumma pointed at the lights and said:

🔴 Red Light – Stop

🟡 Yellow Light – Get Ready

🟢 Green Light – Go

She told her very well.

“Beta, green light hone par bhi pehle right-left-right dekhna zaroori hota hai.”

This is one of the most important traffic rules for children.

🚶‍♂️ Rule 3: Use Zebra Crossing

Ruhi saw white lines on the road and asked,

“Yeh kya hai?”

Mumma smiled😊

“This is called a zebra crossing.”

She explained:

Always cross the road using a zebra crossing

Wait until vehicles stop

Never cross from the middle of the road

👉 Zebra crossing kids ka safest friend hota hai.

🚌 Rule 4: Safety While Using Public Transport

When the school bus passed by, Mumma shared more rules:

Stand in a line while boarding a bus

Never push or run

Sit properly and don’t lean out of the window

Listen to the bus driver and teacher

🧏Ruhi realized that transport rules for kids are also about discipline and patience.

🚲 Rule 5: Bicycle Safety Rules for Kids

Ruhi loved her bicycle, so this rule made her excited.

Mumma said:

Always wear a helmet🪖

Ride on the left side

Do not race with friends on the road🏃🏃

Use a bell or reflector.

“Helmet cool nahi lagta, lekin life saving hota hai,” Mumma explained.

🚗 Rule 6: Car Safety Rules

While sitting in the car, Mumma reminded her:

Always wear a seat belt

Sit calmly, don’t jump or shout👼

Never put hands or head outside the window

Children should sit in the back seat

👉 Car safety rules kids ke liye bahut zaroori hote hain.

🚫 Rule 7: Never Play on the Road

This rule was very important.

Mumma said seriously,

“Beta, road playground nahi hota.”

🤸🤸🤸🤸🤹🤹🤾⛹️⛹️

Do not play cricket or football on the road

Roads are only for vehicles and walking safely.

Ruhi promised to play only in the park or playground.

👮 Rule 8: Respect Traffic Police and Signs

Mumma showed her road signs and traffic police.

She said:

Traffic signs give important instructions

Traffic police help everyone stay safe

Always follow rules, even if no one is watching.
